Dorchester Floor Lamp
Dorchester Floor Lamp
A simple, classic style, the 300-watt Dorchester Floor Lamp is easily placed into a variety of decor and spaces. A matte-finished pole extends into a frosted plastic bowl shade that reveals a beautiful glow when lit. A patented 300-watt double socket construction allows for two crisscrossed sockets, each holding on/off 150-watt incandescent or LED bulbs which provides approximately 3 times more light than a typical torchiere. A simple high/low rotary switch is located on the shade cup to adjust the brightness. This lamp is smart outlet compatible. Bulbs are not included. NOTE: Use incandescent bulbs up to 150-watt or dimmable LED bulbs (DO NOT USE: 3-way bulbs or CFLs). We recommend using incandescent bulbs for best results achieving both settings of 50% brightness and 100% brightness with no flicker. When using LED bulbs, it is common to see some flicker on the low setting (the high setting will always have no flicker). A dimmable LED will minimize the low-setting flicker, but may still occur.
